Holidays are crazy creative times

So, now I'm busy making a slew of cards for family and friends. In addition to cards I'm trying my hand at stamping tile coasters and using designer papers to decorate wooden birdhouses (will post pics later). All my ideas have been CASED from the wonderfully creative folks at Split Coast Stampers!!!! I basically am a BIG copycat. Whatever works eh?

Baby Shower Card

Well, well, well, it's certainly been awhile since I added anything. That's what going back to work will do to a girls schedule! Been busy making up these cute baby shower invites. Got the idea from Split Coast Stampers. Great place to go when you need ideas! Hope all are doing well! Take care.

I didn't add any tissue paper to the bags but once you do then it looks like a nice gift. I did this in a rush so you would have something to look at. If you know someones favorite colors or what they like I can custom make cards to suit individual tastes.

Ruth here are some samples of 5 cards gift purses.

This is just two of several different card sets I have. Cards are 5 1/2 in. X 4 1/4 in. The ivory purse is 7 X 7 ins. The pink on is a about the same size. The pink purse comes in teal and purple too. I will blog photos later. I'm off to fix dinner now. Take care!

Taking Pictures of my cards

I am trying different settings to get the best view of my handmade cards. Today when taking pics of the birthday cards I went outside and used the very bright natural sunlight. Maybe it was a little too bright. I'll keep trying until I eventually find the best lighting technique for my photos.

Birthday Cards with Envelopes

I use almost all Stampin' Up products in my card making. I do however use other embellishments. Stampin' Up has the most beautiful papers! I also love their color palette.

I've been busy again. I just love making cards!!!

More Cards Each Day

So, I finally got this thing updated. I now have a slide show available to view. If you click on the actual pictures it will take you to a site that will let you view each picture larger than what you see on this site. Again, I am still in the early stages of setting up this blog. Since I have never done this before and am trying to tame my young son during the day it will take me awhile to tweak this blog. Alas, bear with me and eventually I will have this thing looking good!

I have now entered the world of blogging. I do not know how well I will do at keeping this thing updated but I will try my darndest. Wish me luck!
